Terms of Use

Last updated: May 28, 2026

These terms govern your use of aohoops.training and the AO Hoops training platform (“the Service”), operated by AO Hoops (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are between 13 and 18, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for any membership charges.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account.
  • One account per person. Don’t share or transfer your account.

Membership and billing

  • Membership is sold as a recurring subscription. Pricing and billing intervals are shown at checkout, which is operated by Stripe.
  • Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal in your account. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Except where required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable.
  • Failed payments may result in suspension of access until the issue is resolved.
  • We may change pricing or membership terms for future billing periods with reasonable notice. Existing charges that have already been processed are not affected.

Coach-issued comp access

From time to time we may grant complimentary (“comp”) access — for example, by invitation. Comp access may be revoked at our discretion and does not entitle you to a refund. If we transition you from comp to paid, we will give you advance notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly publish any training content, drill text, video, or program material.
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or defame anyone.
  • Attempt to access another member’s account, bypass authentication, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to access the Service except where we explicitly permit it.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Content and ownership

All AO Hoops content — workout programs, drill text, videos, branding, and the platform itself — is owned by AO Hoops and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the content for your own training while your membership is active.

Data you create on the platform (your training history, scores, and notes) belongs to you. You grant us permission to store and display it to you as part of operating the Service.

Physical activity — your responsibility

Basketball training involves physical activity and inherent risk of injury. By using the Service, you confirm that you are physically able to perform the work, you have consulted a physician if appropriate for your situation, and you assume the risks of participation. The content is for educational and training purposes and is not medical advice. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain or other warning signs.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AO Hoops is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your membership at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, non-payment, or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive jurisdiction for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.
